“LXmas For You”: SWISS marks Advent with the magic of small moments

Once again this year, SWISS is inviting its customers to share the joy of Advent with its “LXmas For You” campaign. The airline will be taking a range of actions aloft, on the ground and on social media to help get everyone in the seasonal mood. This year, SWISS is putting a particular focus on the magic of little gestures and moments. It also has a number of surprises in store for its traveling guests.

Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) is ringing in Advent once again with the launch of its own “LXmas” season. This year’s campaign, which goes under the motto of “LXmas For You”, puts a particular emphasis on the importance of little gestures and moments, as SWISS invites its traveling guests to discover the special in the everyday, taking a range of actions to arouse the anticipation and stoke the seasonal mood.

Over the next few weeks between now and Christmas, SWISS will be putting the accent on solidarity and appreciation with a mix of donation drives, charity actions by its employees and surprise moments within Switzerland and beyond. Both travelers and those at home will be able to play games with prizes, discover fun surprises and experience unforgettable moments on SWISS’s social media channels.

A Christmas visit

SWISS travelers may well experience a Christmas visit, too, in these “LXmas For You” times. St. Nicholas – “Samichlaus” to the Swiss – and his elf helpers will be making a personal appearance on selected SWISS flights with surprises for their guests. A further highlight promises to be the unique Christmas Night on 17 December for the winners of the grand “LXmas” competition and further invitees.

An established tradition

Since its launch seven years ago, SWISS’s “LXmas” campaign has established itself as a much-loved Advent tradition that brings people together all over the globe. This year, too, with “LXmas For You”, SWISS will be carrying all the magic of Christmas out into the world with a range of actions and surprises that are sure to deliver some truly special moments.

“LXmas is all about spreading the magic of Christmas and highlighting how wonderful small gestures can be,” explains Head of Marketing Stefan Vasic. “Christmas is a reminder to us all to stop and think, appreciate the people around us and share those special moments. And this year, too, we’re looking to share all the magic of the Christmas season with everyone throughout Switzerland and beyond.”
