SWISS increases service to Krakow in its winter schedules

From a winter-cloaked Washington, DC to Christmas lights in Krakow and Naples with all its Mediterranean flair, SWISS will be offering its customers an attractive and varied range of destinations in its 2025/26 winter schedules, too. Many of the points served this summer will remain firmly in the network to inspire further travel adventures in the coming cooler months. SWISS will serve a total of 90 destinations from Zurich and Geneva in the 2025/26 winter timetable period.

“We are pleased to be offering our customers another wide and inspirational range of SWISS destinations in our coming winter schedules,” says Chief Commercial Officer Heike Birlenbach. “Whether it’s for a key business meeting, visiting family and friends or just heading somewhere special for a well-deserved break, our network and our schedules are specifically geared to our customers’ varied individual travel needs.”

More flights between Zurich and Krakow

SWISS service on the Zurich-Krakow route will be raised from seven to nine weekly flights. With its medieval Old Town, its festive lighting and its general gentle calm, the Polish city makes a wonderful winter getaway, too. SWISS is also putting a particular focus on a number of further European routes from Zurich in its coming winter schedules, with up to 21 flights a week to Rome, up to 15 to Manchester, up to 14 to Porto and up to six to Naples, which, sitting at the foot of Vesuvius with its seafront promenade and its old-town lanes, exudes all its Mediterranean lightness in the wintertime, too.

Two destinations that newly received SWISS service in the 2024 summer schedules will again continue to be served from Zurich throughout the winter months: Cluj-Napoca in Romania and Košice in Slovakia, which will each enjoy up to three weekly flights.

Washington, DC, which joined the SWISS network in spring 2024, will also continue to be served in the coming winter schedules, when it will again receive five weekly flights. The US capital holds a particular appeal in its winter guise with its snow-dusted monuments, its cozy cafés and all its top-notch cultural attractions but none of the sometimes hectic summer bustle.

A further focus on the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia from Geneva

For its services from Geneva this winter, SWISS will again be focusing on the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, with a particular eye to winter sports enthusiasts keen to visit Swiss resorts. London will receive up to 39 SWISS services from Geneva a week, while Dublin, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Gothenburg will all also enjoy non-stop Geneva flights.

90 destinations in the coming winter schedules

All in all, SWISS will offer 90 destinations from Zurich and Geneva in its coming winter schedules: 63 European and 23 intercontinental points from Zurich, and New York plus 20 short-haul destinations from Geneva. The 2025/26 winter timetable period will run from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026.

All the flights offered in SWISS’s 2025/26 winter schedules are bookable now at www.swiss.com and via all further booking channels.
